We offer utility and rental/mortgage assistance. Clients must meet certain requirements, such as being income eligible. We also offer the USDA commodity program, which allows a family to get staple food items every 2 months if they meet our criteria/guidelines.
Helping Hands
We offer utility and rental assistance, as well as food. On occasion, we can issue a gas voucher and also medication assistance, however we are highly limited on our funds to assist with on this. Clients must meet certain requirements, such as being income eligible.

Services: Accepts and processes applications for food stamps, aid to families with dependent children (AFDC) and TNCare. Provides counseling for health problems, marriage difficulties, mental health problems, as well as referrals to other agencies. DCS also serves as a placement agency for Foster Children and Adoptions. DCS accepts child abuse and neglect reports and serves in the capacity of crisis intervention during emergencies.
