Incentives are available for existing businesses and those looking to relocate to Humphreys County.

Local Incentives
Humphreys County offers a Payment in Lieu of Tax (PILOT) program which could qualify industries for tax breaks in lieu of ad valorem taxes. Terms are decided by the Humphreys County Industrial Board based on the industry's economic needs and considerations.

Meriwether Lewis Electric Cooperative (MLEC)

MLEC offers a number of incentive programs based on eligibility and tailored to the specific needs of their customers including:

• Reduction in manufacturer's sales tax or bill credit
• Enhanced growth credit or enhanced security deposit
• Rate discount for those willing to be listed as interruptible
